 I've been wanting to get back into skateboarding for some time. There is a skatepark near me that has smaller sized ramps and most of the time, I see fairly few people there, which is great for a relative newbie like me. And, to my surprise, I found out that there is actually a mini-ramp at Google where I'll be working come August (Skating at Google's Halfpipe (poorly))!

I took the plunge today and got myself a shiny new skateboard. Given all my various hobbies, free time isn't exactly something in copious supply, but hey, you only live once so might as well try to squeeze in all the things you want to do!

A serious flu while in Banff put me out of commission for about a week and that’s what sparked the Version 2.0 redesign. This time, it was a lower back injury incurred the day after the Mammoth trip.
