TiVo Glo Remote

Actually, we started selling it around Oct. 27, but I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been able to post about it until now. Hey, I’ve been preoccupied designing our next great products! :-) This remote is essentially the same remote that is shipped with our Series3 boxes (key features of which I outlined here). There is one notable exception, however. The outer peanut ring of the TiVo Glo remote is finished with chrome instead of painted silver. Actually, the ring is finished with what’s sometimes (often?) referred to as black chrome. Black chrome is darker, richer, and not as brightly metallic as “regular” chrome. It gives the remote a much more elegant and sophisticated look IMHO. I wish I had more high-res pics of the remote, especially from additional angles, but this is presently all I can get my hands on.
