Google Offer!
Originally posted to Google+ on Jun 11, 2014 Today, I accepted an offer to join the Android Hardware team at Google! My last near-decade at TiVo has been a highly fun and rewarding experience so the decision wasn't easy, but at the end of the day, I knew that if I didn't accept the Google offer, I'd regret it down the road. Since I"m leaving for Costa Rica tomorrow (surf trip to Malpais/Santa Teresa!), I wanted to have everything wrapped up on this front before leaving for my trip. I submitted my resignation letter today and while I'll be staying at TiVo through July to help with the transition and to finish up my current project, I'll be a Googler come August! I'm highly excited about this next stage in my career!
