TiVo Roamio
Today, we introduced TiVo Roamio with the entire line featuring my latest baby, the awesomely awesome Series5 remote. Featuring RF technology (doesn't require pointing the remote at the box), click domes for crisp button feel, an awesome looking new TiVo button, and a completely redesigned peanut form that is smaller, supremely ergonomic, and just plain cool looking! Pretty much everything I wanted to improve upon since designing the Series4 and Series3 remotes have been incorporated in this remote. IMO, it's hands down the best peanut remote ever, which means it's also the best remote ever. :-) The boxes are pretty bad-ass too, with a slick new industrial design and touch-sensitive buttons. Performance is vastly improved with an appreciably more responsive UI resulting in a much more enjoyable user experience.
